Responsibilities

The Quality Coordinatorship was established within the scope of the Norm Staff Study with the decision of the Board of Directors numbered 2012 / 637-14.

Authorities, duties and responsibilities are defined in the 'Higher Education Quality Assurance Regulation' published by the Board of Higher Education in the Official Gazette dated 23.07.2015 and numbered 29423.

Duties of the Quality Coordinator

1. Evaluation of the quality and quality improvement studies of the institution's educational and research activities, administrative services in line with the Higher Education Quality Assurance Regulation and the strategic plans and objectives of our university.

2. According to Higher Education Quality Assurance and Higher Education Quality Board Regulation and Quality Commission Working Procedures and Principles; To ensure that meetings are held twice a year (in April and October) with Quality Commission Members and Quality Commission and Sub Advisory Board Members.

3. In January-March every year, M.Ü. To ensure that the Internal Evaluation Report (KİDR) and the Corporate Indicator Report (KGR) are prepared and announced to the public.

4. To prepare the Unit Activity Report and forward it to the Strategy Development Department.

5. To ensure that reports are prepared for the quality activities and quality improvement studies carried out throughout the university and submitted to the Quality Commission.

6. To ensure that the policies and processes determined by our university for the quality assurance system are announced to the relevant units.

7. To fulfill the necessary tasks during the preparatory phase and evaluation process in our university for the higher education institutional external evaluation process organized by the Higher Education Quality Board.

8. Proposing, planning and monitoring improvement works for areas open to improvement after the external evaluation process.

9. To engage in and participate in training, meetings, workshops etc. activities for students, administrative staff and academic staff in order to spread the quality culture.

10. To ensure that congresses, conferences, seminars or workshops related to quality in higher education are announced to the academic staff of our university.

11. To follow up and announce current and professional publications and practices related to quality in higher education.

12. To fulfill other quality duties of the Quality Commission.

13. To fulfill other duties assigned by the Higher Education Quality Board within the scope of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Regulation.

14. To take part in the establishment of the commissions that the Higher Education Quality Board deems necessary and whose working principles and procedures are determined, and in the establishment of sub-advisory boards.

15. To follow the quality studies, changes in quality studies carried out by YÖKAK, changes published in the Official Gazette on new studies and practices.

16. Researching and examining the Corporate Process Management software, evaluating it with the relevant stakeholders, considering the University's current structure and its compliance with performance and quality standards.
